    Default Stitches out?

    Just wondering when i am meant to get my c/s stitches out, as you can prob tell by some of my threads, the hospital didn't tell me anything at all really.

    Mine came out in the first week while I was still in hospital. I think on day 4 or 5?

    i got an early discharge so mine were done at home by a nurse that came to the house...around day 5 i think.

    oh but i had staples, so not sure if that is different

    Mine were dissolvable. By the time I took the special dressing off a week later (similar to thick sticky tape) they were all gone.

    I've not had a c-sect but my best friend has had 4 c-sects and her stitches all disolved

    Mine were dissolvable too...

    Although the middie that discharged me didn't trim the end, so I had an inch and a half thread sticking out the side, which was still there 2 weeks on

    I had to get Df to trim it for me

    Thanks everyone, i will go to a GP next week then, i guess if its a few days past day 5 its better later right?
