ok, my mum is taking myself and DF to court to get visitation rights..... I do not trust her one bit, she messed my life up and now she is going to do the same with Mikayla like she has almost done until I stop them seeing eachother.

How stressful for you. (that she's trying to cause trouble)

I'm sure she would have no legal rights what-so-ever too. If you didn't want her to see your DD, there's nothing she could do about it. If she's a real trouble maker she might try the 'your abusing your DD' line, but they'd just investigate that and it would get dismissed.

I hate it when people make stupid threats like that - when they don't have a leg to stand on. That in itself shows what sort of person she is.

I'd be surprised if it would even make it to court . . . don't they weed out pointless disputes so as not to waste the courts time?? Do you have a court hearing time? Or is it just a threat from her?

Not yet, she said that she wants me to go to mediation, and if I refuse which she knows I will she is going to take it to court...
She has already seen a lawyer and he has told her he will get her the visitation rights... I do have a chat log from msn do you know if I can post it on here? Just so you all understand everything, so I do not need to re-type everything

I'd private message your msn details, not post them in here. I don't know much about this type of thing, but be happy to chat to you about it! - do you mean you have a previous conv about it that you'd like to share? You could prob cut and paste? the mods will clean it up if it's wrong I guess??
