Default he is 3 and may go blind

Mods: I am sorry if this is in wrong place

A very dear friend of my who I have known since I was 12 has a 3yr old son. Almost since he was born his left eye has been cross-eyed. His right eye is fine, but his left eye is always facing inwards. For the last 2yrs she has been trying to get a appointment with a specialest she finally got one at the RCH ( Royal Childrens Hospital ), I went with her today. We were told that he has Catarax in both eyes, and he needs to be seen by a surgeon asap or else he may go blind. We thought he was the specialist but he was only a eye doc. He said that her son K will need to see a specialist asap as in the next few months he will start to go blind in both eyes. We have a appointment to see the specialist on Thursday to see the max extent of the damage and to organise surgeory. He also said that with the surgeory there is a 70/30 chance he may be blind also...

I am so worried about her and K. I am not asking for advice just if you can all please keep them both in your prayers and hope that he comes out of this 100%.

    Thankyou ladies

Children are amazing little beings... they surprise doctors all the time!

It must be stressful for his mummy, she's blessed to have a good friend to help support her.

I'll be thinking of them. They can do amazing things these days, so I hope K's mum keeps positive. to her and K. And to you, for being such a wonderful support to them through this.
