Default For those who have had the flu!

How did it start? What symptoms did you have?

Yesterday and today I have felt really achy. I don't have a cold, my head isn't bloked up, and I don't have a sore throat. Yesterday my back was quite sore around the kidney area, and today I still have back pain but it is more like in between my shoulder blades, and I also feel a bit sore around my ribs/chest area and it hurts to cough, or to bend down. It sort of feels like I've pulled some muscles but haven't really done anything out of the ordinary

Just wondering how the flu started for you??

    Thanks

Mine started with sore throat, bad cough and a rotten headache. The sinus congestion didn't show up til 3 days later.

It was really bad, the worst flu I've ever had. 4 of us in my family were on anti-biotics for over a week.

Mine started last Sunday with aches and pains all over, blocked up head, really fatigued, cough and runny nose. I didn't have a sore throat. Touch wood! the aches lasted about 2 days. But I had no choice but to get out of bed
By Tuesday night both my boys were showing signs. DS1 has it the worst. He was ok Wed sent him to kinder I get a call saying he had fallen asleep. So picked him up and he has pretty much slept since. He has a runny nose and cough. He has an ear infection atm too which dosen't help. DS2 just has a really bad cough and runny nose but otherwise is fine.

We have just had a flu like this and it was not good. DS1 had high temp for 6days even with continuous meds. It hit him really hard. We still have the cough and it can last for weeks afterwards apparently
