does bad period pain mean bad bh??

Hi just doing a poll on whether bad period pain means bad braxton hicks? I hardly ever get bad period pain and so far have had unpainful braxton hicks.

I really dont think they are connected but i guess they are being the same muscles... doing a different job though. On a much bigger thing!!

I had bad period pain and absolutely no braxton hicks. Or at least, I don't think I did. I may have, but I never identified them as Braxton Hicks...

I never had any period pain before DS and never had any braxton hicks. After DS i had horribly painful period pain but again no braxton hicks with this pregnancy.

I didin't really get very painfull period pain, but this pregnancy I have had the odd painfull BH,

I too don't believe they are related in anyway, although, I hadn't really thought about it

I used to get really really bad period pain... And at 39 weeks, am yet to have a BH, or if I've had one, I haven't noticed!

i have period pain thats uncomfy but not really really bad, prob a 7 out of ten??
Two pregnancies i had really bad bh the other two nothing really. This one i am feeling them heaps maybe as its number 4 or something not sure

b4 seth my periods were irregular as i was on implanon so helped with less pain. so cant comment on that. but the BH wernt painfull. only the contractions.
