    Default Symptoms of Flu?

Just wondering if anyone knows what the symptoms of flu are. I took both girls to the Dr yesterday and she said they have croup but im not so sure. Jazzys cough is clearing up but Roxy had a bit of a temp last night and has an awful crackling cough, runny nose and watery eyes. I am going to the Dr again this afternoon....i just keep freaking about this damn flu! Im just not sure what the actual symptoms are...? Can anyone help?
    Thanks!

The main symptoms they are warning about are

    sudden onset of persistant cough
persistant fever that doesn't respond to panadol
    and fatigue/lethargy

with this bad flu they said if your child has been sick for more than a few days then you dont need to panic. If it develops really quickly then get them checked out asap (I mean within a matter of hours kinda thing)

There's some good info on the australian health department/organisation (can't remember what they're called exactly) website. Google it. They explain the different symptoms of colds v flu, etc.

The flu has just finished visiting my entire household...

Symptoms for most of us were: Cough, Runny Nose and mostly a fever, and shivering.... I had a slight sore throat to start with to, but it didnt progress into anything else...

I'd probably get her checked out by a different doctor - My little brothers are 14 and 8 and the doctor had them go back a few days later to ensure they were better just to be on the safe side...

Hope your little ones are feeling better soon.
