    Default Safety gates!!

    Hi Guys...

Just wondering if anyone knows where I can find a child safety gate that is reasonably priced to fit a doorway of 1m??? Any help would be appreciated...

I know you can get them from the bigger shops but they seemed to be too pricey...

    Thanks

have you looked at Target thats where we got ours from, we had to pay a little bit extra cause it was to go at the bottom of stairs so we needed the extension so we paid $110 but you can get them cheaper then that..

you can get some decent ones off ebay now but they are climb over ones. i just got a few walk-through gates and because our stairs are narrow i had to take the extension off that gate and i can use it on the wider entrance to the lounge room.

oh and while they might be more expensive the metal ones last longer and are safer. my 3 year old neice can't get through the metal ones where she can get through the wooden ones.

and the metal ones have pretty good resale value later.

Mel, we have one from bunnings- the dream baby brand as it had all the extensions. I found it hard to find one that extended longer than a metre too.
