    Capital Works or Recent Improvements:

*The Robina Campus was built in 2000 and acquired by Queensland Health in June 2002. It provided general and day surgery, palliative care, chemotherapy, renal dialysis, rehabilitation and mental health services. *An additional 32 bed medical ward opened in 2006.

Current Projects Include - *Stage One Project: $40 million hospital expansion under construction comprising of new emergency department, new renal unit and new acute medical ward due to open September 2007. *New Emergency department to include 26 acute bed bays, 10 bed short stay unit, patient transfer lounge, a separate area for minor injuries and treatments and a support area for mental health clients. *Expanded pathology, allied health, pharmacy and medical imaging services opening to coincide with expansion *Working towards offering a comprehensive MH service for all ages. *Stage Two Project: In 2009 180 additional beds will open, making Robina campus a 364 bed hospital.

Doesn't say anything about Maternity.....I didn't ever think Robina was getting Maternity...just what I heard when I was working down there....
