Not doing preschool?

Just wondering if anyone out there is not putting their kids into preschool or daycare at all before their kids start school?

Do you think kids could be disadvantaged by not attending preschool or daycare prior to starting "big" school?

I'm just a curious mum who's still working things out in my own head before making any decisions.

Nope we dont, they do go to kinder though 4yo which usually is say three days a week at 3 or 4 hours a session. I guess this warms them up for big school, i am lucky that i dont need to put them into care though

Yes I think they MAY be a little disadvantaged especially if they are an only child in my opinion they need to learn to share and interact with kids their age even if its only 1 day a week I will hopefully be putting DD in daycare for 1 day a week wen she is 12 months or fully weaned from breast whichever comes first
