Default Boiled bottle water - need to refridgerate?

I've read that some parents keep their boiled water for the bottles on the benchtop and not in the fridge. I thought both the sterilised bottles and the boiled water must be refridgerated......is this true? It would be easier to have the water at room temp so that I don't have to heat it up each time.

I keep mine at room temp but refill it with freshly boiled water every morning.

I always left mine on the bench, then when it was time for a bottle just scooped in the formula and it was ready to go. It was the hopsital that advised me to do it, the nurse said they won't miss warm bottles if they never have them. My DD never had a warm bottle. It's so much easier when you go out too.

I boil the water fill the bottles up and leave them on the bench. If there is milk in them (like if I've just made a bottle and Skye has fallen asleep or whatever) then it goes in the fridge. I just heat the bottle up in the microwave then add the powder when needed.

I wash, rinse, sterilise my bottles daily, fill them with required amount of bottle d water, and keep them stored in the sterilizer (one of those avent ones).

So they stay in a sterilised environment, the water cools down by the time a feed is due and if too cool, i just boil the kettle, tip a little out and top up with hot water so right temp for feeding.

    To easy

Nup, no need to refrigerate bottles filled only with water.

Only bottles with made up formula need to be kept in the fridge.
