    Default Pediatrician in Melbourne

Has anyone located in Melbourne used a pediatrican they would recommend? I need to take ds to one to have his head checked, it's flat on one side and both ob and CHN have recommended I go. Also, roughly what was the cost? Any recommendations appreciated

We've seen Dr Lionel Lubitz at the Royal Children's. He is a lovely man and it only cost $20 out of pocket. I felt it was really worth it.

    Good luck and best wishes.

Michael Harari at Masada or RCH. He is amazing and I can't recommend him highly enough.

Scout - I second that one.

    Dr Harari is awesome!!

(My son got a kick out of seeing him on Family Feud when they did the doctors special)

I don't pay for my son to see him as he was referred by my GP and it's covered by medicare
    (and my pension card)

Not sure love Im sorry - my son saw a Paed in QLD when he was premmie...
But Dr Harari has his full history and has been nothing but helpful and has also seconded the original Paed's suggestions that my son would have some developmental issues due to being premmie... and he has been a great help to my son now that he is at school.

All you can do is try him and make sure he has all the files forwarded to him etc.

Dennis Hain is not only the best pediatrician in the world (in Melbourne) but he will treat your children with absolute kindness and sweetness.
