    Default lunch baby shower?

    Hi everyone just got of the phone to my grandmother askin if we have to pay for lunch at the hotel were my sisters havin her baby shower and i said yes.
    Im am also due with my baby in august and sister in october.
    anyway my grandmother said some people will think my sister is payin and if they no they hav to pay she cant expect people to buy gifts
    she thinks shes bein selfish i do no whether to tell my sister or not

    Hmm, to be quite honest. If you are expecting guests to pay for their own meal, then you shouldn't expect a gift from them. Just my opinion. I would tell her.

    Is it too late to change plans to afternoon tea at home?

    I agree with poshBecks - you can't expect both. I would tell your sister.
