Smile Need New Freinds - Gold Coast

Hi I introduced myself the other day!

I was reading a message about someone who didnt have any friends that wanted to talk to her. So I suggested maybe we should start up new threads in each area of our State!

Im From Arundel on the Gold Coast, not far from Surfers!

Is there anyone who would like to chat to me! Im 20 wekks pregnant with my fist bub, Im excited but nervous as I do not have any mates here yet. Me and Hubby are from UK. Been travelling in oz for a year and decided to settle here!

Not from Qld, but Welcome to Bubhub none the less
You know what, I deserve better. I will stand up and out of your shadow, I will feel the wind in my wings, I will learn to fly, you can stay and enjoy my freedom or leave, either way I was born to fly.

Hi I'm new to Bubhub but I've been a parent for ages. I have a 9 year old daughter and a 4 year old son. I hope to talk to you all soon.

    Hi Jackie

My Hubby is Aussie too, Only he was just born here and his mum and dad dragged him back to UK when he was little. He always wanted to know what it was like here so he is now back at home. He was born in Brisbane. How long have you been here for? 14 weeks eh? are you excited? do you know what sex you are having? all so many questions. What do you miss from UK?

    hey sally,
oh what do i miss...walkers crisps and fish, chips and mushy p,s (or curry sauce) lol. My parents still live in nottingham and my family is all around london,sheffield... I came here for a year in 2001 then went back to earn some pounds( exchange was 3 to 1 then) then came out for good in 2003, so about 5 years all up. we went back for a holiday in april and i just wanted to get home, ye so australia is home for me now. I do hope some day that we will move to the coast as its a bit boring living in canberra. We are expecting a little boy. Will u stay in oz and do you no what sex ur baby is?? i love the summer life in australi but like in the uk the winter sucks.
