    Arrow Breastfeeding and Periods

    While breastfeeding did you get your periods?
    DD,DD,DD,DD,DS.

    No.

    Nearly 12 months and no sign of it. I read in a book that its the NIGHT feeds that keep AF at bay more so than the day feeds.

    My DS doesn't sleep through the night, he feeds quite a bit - three or four times (we co-sleep).

    I used to whinge about him not sleeping through but since I read that I have been quiet, lol.

    Yep when DD was 6 months old thought i'd be without them untill i'd finished BF.

    from pretty early on-and I was very obviously ovulating as I conceived while b/fing too!

    DS self weaned at 15 months, my period came back about two months after that..

    And I could agree with the night feeds keeping them away - DS was a night guzzler!

    Yup, straight after PP bleeding I got AF

    Yes - exactly 28 days after PP back came AF ..... no break for me!

    mine came back after 7 months, i started dd on solids at 6 months and she cut her feeds down!!

    it was a very sad occasion!!

    When Sasha was about 5 months i started getting light spotting every 2 weeks.

    But before af returned i got pregnant but i lost the baby.after that my spotting took about 50 days to come back.
