    Default melbourne 30+ mums

Hi! my name is angie and i am 39. i've tried posting on some of the other 30+ forums but they have been going for ages and i don't really know what everyone is up to. so i thought i'd start a new one. i'm interested in chatting to anyone but thought it would be good to start a melbourne 30+ thread as the others all seem to be in qld.
i have a 7 1/2 month old ds who is the light of my life. he isn't crawling yet and isn't too keen on solids. he loves breastfeeding though which is still going strong. he has two teeth just poking through on the bottom which is very cute!
so if any other melbourne 30+ mums feel like a chat post here as i'd love to hear from you!

    mysweetpea,

Good idea starting a new thread. I'm 34 and live in the outer eastern suburbs of Melb with my DH and 3.5yr old DD. She is so awesomely beautiful and is growing up way too fast. She makes me laugh every day, and I love hanging out with her. Unfortunately DH misses out on heaps because he works very long hours. You're doing well still breast feeding, we stopped at 6 months cause DD was losing interest and I was sitting there with one (.) hanging out while she just looked around, so I thought 'enough of this' and put her on to formula, although I continued to give her a night feed until she was 9 months. I know Northcote pretty well, used to work in Thornbury ages ago

Anyhoo, enough ing from me. Hope to chat to you soon.

    Mel

I am 31, so I only just make it, but I have 4 boys, and just love being a mum, they range in ages from 1 to 7 and are the best little spunks in the world, I feel so lucky to be their mum, and I have been at home for nearly 8 years raising them, I have a supportive hubby, who is happy that I am happy at home with 4 ferals. They keep me busy, but that is just the way I like it.

welcome everyone and great to hear from you!

mel - i agree with you that our babies are growing up far too quickly! it seems like only yesterday that dh and i were driving to the hospital to have bub and now he is nearly 8 months old! i can't believe how quickly time is flying

4boys2love - wow, 4 boys! you'd have your hands full! well done for staying home with them for so long. i'm due back at work in october and even tough it will only be a couple of days a week i'm dreading going back!

punkbaby - an hour and a bit away doesn't count, some people commute that far to work everyday! when is bub #4 due? you'll have your hands full too! best of luck for the rest of your pregnancy

well, it may be cold and wet outside but its a great day to be snuggled up inside! a great excuse to spend a lazy saturday evening at home (actually, it doesn't matter what the weather is doing, we are always at home on a saturday evening these days lol!) not that i'm complaining, i wouldn't have it any other way.

i hope everyone is having a great weekend! no doubt it will be monday again soon enough! chat soon!

We thought we were stopping at two, but a moment of passion took care of that!. I am SO glad we have him though! The pic is a bit out of date - DS only 4 months old there! I betta find a new one somewhere!

hi mumof three and welcome to our new thread black rock - what a lovely place to live. my BIL and his lives in Beaubaris right on the beach too. its lovely down there

i used to live in the country, moved down to melbourne about 9 years ago. i love melbourne, i think its a great city! mum still lives up in the country (in even a smaller country town than i lived in) and even though i love visiting her and spending time in the country air, i'm a city girl at heart. so its great we've got a melbourne thread going. i'm looking forward to getting to know you all
