    Default Springfield Lakes Playgroup Qld

Hi there, my name is Donna (25), my husband is Justin (26), and we have a 14mth old son Lachlan. We have just recently moved to Springfield Lakes and have found there are no local playgroups, or get togethers.

I was wondering if there were any local mums out there that were keen to start up a group of any ages where we can meet once or twice a week.
Perhaps we could organise gatherings around the lake, once a week have it at someones house, rotating every week, or even just a pram walk. Maybe all mums could gather once a week near the lake, and pram walk around the lake. There is a cafe on the lake, so afterwards we could perhaps have a drink and cake and talk about other things we could do.

My email is jdandl@bigpond.net.au if anyone was interested in getting together.

My friend lives out that way and I'm sure that she takes her 2 year old to a community centre playgroup which is in the local shops in Springfield Lakes. I think! Go and check it out!

Default Playgroup in Springfield Lakes area

Westlife Mum*Me Group meets every 2nd Wednesday at local parks, homes, coffee shops..... Contact Mel Hunt on melaniehunt@y7mail.com.

This group is free of charge and insurance is covered by Westlife Church'. Not part of Playgroup Assc.
Appears on Facebook groups as Westlife Mum*Me group. Mel will email you details of events regularly.

Also, another local group is Springfield Lakes Mummies - another Facebook group who meet at different locations in the local area.

There are play groups held at the Springfield Lakes community centre but these are not free of charge and are held at the 'centre' all the time.

If you have any problems finding the contact details, send me a PM and I'll send them to you again.

All the best in choosing a group.

    Maria.
