I bought a Berry Plush and didn't like it so I swapped it... I found it to be too low rise and sometimes it slid down, and was not as absorbent as my BG or Haute pockets.. and I couldn't fit some of his pants over it!! They were just not for me.

    what size did you get?

they are sized small so always up size the bp

as for absorbancy i love them to bits!
they can last a very long time.

When me and DS came back from QLD DS wore one for nearly6 hours cause we were on a plane and
(i would never have left a sposie on him that long!) and no leaks at all!

they are a very very good nappy!

plus the look really good as well..
    i say get one! (or 2 )

I had a medium for my 7kg, 5 1/2 month boy. It was plenty big enough (was on the 2nd tightest snaps). It was good absorbency wise but IMO not as good as BG or Hautes. And the minkee look was just not for me. Everyone's different though and every baby's different so I am not saying they're a bad nappy, just that I didn't really like them. That's waht's so good about this forum, that you can so many people's opinions of something you haven't tried.

Plus I am probably the wrong person to ask about the BP as I am all for trim nappies (as some of you may remember from Qs I have asked myself!) and they are definitely not one of the trimmest. I had to choose what clothes he wore carefully when he had the BP on...

Also I wanted to add that I am not the only one who doesn't find the BP all that absorbent. I can't remember who it was or what thread I read it in but I remember reading someone say that they found them to be not that reliable. So it all comes down to try and see how it is for your baby, as I know most ppl swear by them that's why I was surprised. And yes, before anyone asks, I did pre-wash the insert on hot 7 times before use.

Are they for the twins? If so, then I would prob say no. I have one for DS and it doesn't fit him quite right (he is 22 months and about 15kgs). It looks a bit small/low at the front. The hemp bunches around the legs and (I'm not sure if this is the right word) it wicks between the legs. I only use it first thing in the morning under his pj's or if he is wearing baggy tracksuit pants etc... Maybe if it was summer and you wanted to show it off, I might say go for it, but for now I would save my money or buy some BG pockets - cause I know you like them. JMO!

Small fit babies from approx 4kg to 8kg. Rise 39cm, Waist 25-45cm, Leg 12.5-30.5cm

Medium fit babies from approx 7kg to 11kg. Rise 44.5cm, Waist 28-56cm, Leg 15-36cm

Large fit babies from approx 9kg to 15.5kg. Rise 47cm, Waist 33-63.5cm, Leg 19-35.5cm

I was thinking for Bubba Blue #3..

But you're right... I probably should buy some more BG pockets.. (coz I DO like those... lol) and then I can use them on the boys too.

And once I get my act together and start sewing.. I spose I can sew some cute 'minky' nappies
