Ive never had a problem with my child sitting in a pram either.. But theres only so much shopping one can carry/balance while pushing a pram.. Therefor my son either sits in the trolley seat or sits/stands in the trolley..

He doesnt jump around, go crazy, lean over the edge or anything so im not greatly concerned for his safety.. I believe he is safe..

Would be worse if he wasnt in the trolley and ran off and got hit by a car or something equally as tragic.. That wouldnt be pretty..

i remember my skirt/pants caught in the wheel.

Was NOT pretty sight at all.

Occasionally Alex hops on but in the front infront of me.. rest of the time he just helps 'steer' or navigate.

My DD often stands in the trolley. I've never had a problem with it. I would rather this then trying to chase her down the supermarket all the time.

yay ! we're all doing the wrong thing.

i found it is immpossible to push a pram and do a weekly shop at the same time. so first they go in the seat. but once they start trying to climb out of the trolley seat i put them in the main trolley part (i feel thats safe for my monkeys then on the sides). unfortunatly bubby has just started trying to eat the shopping as we go.

I really do not understand why anyone would do this. It makes me cringe and I just want to go over and ask WHY???? Why would you do this?

    Can anyone tell me??
Hey, I completely understand. It upsets me quite a bit when I see children doing this also. Especially the prams mainly that I freak...

Only because like yourself, I have seen many accidents apon accidents with children who have gotten really hurt falling out of the prams while standing.

Nobody is a bad mum if they let there child stand, I just personally have a scary attachement to things like this and always make sure the harness or buckles are done up... or sit a blanket in the trolley and have them sit while I shop... I suppose too because I am always looking after others children then I am overly safety concious so nothing ever happens to there little ones??

I dont know. Maybe im over reacting. I have never had any trouble with either of my kids staying in prams. Just asking a question. Dont bite my head off
No biting I promise. My girl fell out of the pram a few times right on her head. Not pretty at all.
My big kids were so much easier to deal with than bub. Not sure what else I can do. Advice please?
