    Default Birth Registration

Freebirthers, how did you get hold of the birth registration form?
I have been given the runaround all morning, trying to obtain a form.
The hosp is telling me i cant just get given one unless i have the baby at hosp. BDM is telling me to get one from hospital
Where did you get one? Please help.

Also Mods, can we please have a freebirthing section too? That would be awesome.

You need to have the baby first before they will send the form out to you. When you next ring BDM about getting the form sent out to you ask to speak to the compliance officer. She will then draw up the relevant stat decs and send them to your two witnesses of you being pregnant and then given birth. You will also need a letter on letter head from a doctor or naturopath stating certain info about you and the baby. The compliance officer will let you know all of this and was very friendly to deal with. It was all very easy to do and the same with centrelink.
