    Default Is it wind?

my son (6 weeks) has been extremely unsettled over the last week between the hours of 9pm till
12-12.30 midnight everynight. I have tried everything to settle him. He keeps pushing and kicking and farting so i thought maybe he has wind. I have given him infants friend (wind relief) on 2 occasions although i wasn't too keen on it incase it wasn't wind. Does it have any effects on newborns if its not wind. It does say on the bottle it can be used on newborns.
I haven't seen a doctor yet as i thought it was normal but now its been going on for a while i will be visiting my gp on monday.

Is it wind or can it be anything else? Its really starting to stress me and my husband out

it sounds like wind with the kicking have you tried putting him tummy down on your knees and seeing if that helps, or walking around helps too. It could also be his grumpy time my bubs bad time was about 4pm for a few hours

I would still go to you doc to get him looked over though

I agree. My DD had the same thing about that time and she suffered bably from wind. We eventually slept her on her tum because she just wouldn't sleep on her back. I used to drape her over a cushion on my lap or put her over my shoulder and rub her back.....also maybe try a dummy. I was reluctant to give one at first but when I did she was alot better. The sucking soothes them....
