Hi all,

I am just wondering if you remember around about how much your children weighed at this age?

My baby girl is 4 1/2 months old, 63cms and weighs 7kg (15lb). At birth she was 50cms and 7.9lb.

Hi all,

I am just wondering if you remember around about how much your children weighed at this age?

My baby girl is 4 1/2 months old, 63cms and weighs 7kg (15lb). At birth she was 50cms and 7.9lb.

People keep commenting on how big she is or chubby all normally in good nature but I get a little nervous and sad when they ask how much she weighs and I tell them and they either gasp or say woah!!!

She is on 180mls every 3 hours but she is demand feeding so we're not forcing it into her, also she sleeps about 10 hours of the night no bottle so she has between 5 or 6 bottles a day! We don't add farrax or anything it's just S26 Original Lactose Free formula.

Thanks in advance for your replies I just want to confirm whether there is something I need to change!
She was ok Friday and yesterday a bit quiet and fussy on bottles. This morning she was ok and i thought i could see a fine rash on her face and tummy. Anyway. She has slept for almost 4 hours and she NEVER sleeps that long. Shes had one good bottle all day but has been fussy again on them since lunchtime and im just pouring formula down the sink- not that i care about that i just mean shes not taking them. Its not unusual for her to refuee a feed or go 8 hours sometimes but the sleep and this refusal has me a bit worried.
Is this possibly still a reaction or somethig else? Its a fine raised rash on her torso and one leg. Should i worry or see what kind if night we have?

My daughter is 12 weeks old and since birth hasn't liked tummy time at all. She is ok if she's laying across mine or hubby's legs or laying on our chests, but is really unhappy when she's put on the ground on her tummy (but is happy on her back). I just tried her on the floor on her tummy again and she looks like she's close to rolling tummy to back as she throws her legs around and rocks her self side to side but she cried the whole time so I don't really want to put her back down there. I lay next to her and talk and sing and also have toys that make noise to distract her but she still hates it. Does anyone have any suggestions to make her like the floor on her tummy more?

ETA - she's on a soft baby blanket and I've tried her with different blankets so I don't think it's the surface that she doesn't like...
