Hi Everyone...

So - my DD is 3.5weeks old and was exclusively fed EBM up until the beginning of this week when I was unable to keep up with expressing and my supply seemed to drop. She is now having around 2 bottles of EBM per day and the rest are S26 Formula. She seems like she might have developed reflux though, but I am not 100% sure and don't know if it could be the formula or just a coincidence it started after we introduced the formula.

She is doing the following:
* Screaming like she is in pain after a feed (goes red and scrunches herself up)
* Can't put her down - at all! I am having to wear her in a carrier and she is sleeping on my chest at night (= no sleep for me!)
* Gets the hiccups constantly
* Only drinking small amounts (30-40ml) at a time (she was drinking 90-120ml of EBM)
* Vomiting after feeds

Everything that I have read leads me to believe its reflux but could it be an intolerance to the formula? I am going to ring our GP on Monday and try to get in to see him to work out what is going on, but after sleeping only 1hr all night (DF Works nights) last night I am just after some ideas/advice/support etc.

Thankfully DF has taken the kids out for a few hours so I can get some sleep - just expressing then its off to bed.

TIA

My 10w old is on this however her issue is with lactose not milk/soy protein. She was fine on it for first few weeks but having issues now. Would it be worth switching to lactose free formula? if so what is a good brand?

Hi all,

Hi all,

Hoping someone can give me some advice. Have a lovely 4month old bubba. Feeds roughly every 4 hours during the day and has a bottle before bedtime at around 630pm and then a dream feed between 10 to 1030pm (started this about 3 weeks ago). She will then usually go through till about 4am and then another bottle.

My question is this: she was pretty good at taking between 150mls-210mls (average 160mls), but since we introduced the dream feed I've noticed that she will drink a big bottle then and maybe have 60mls at the 4am and is just not interested in the 7am which then has a flow on effect.

Has anyone had this? Should I be trying to cut out the 4am so that she takes a bit more at 7? Any advice appreciated! :-)
