I personally think it's a good idea. The idea of p.o.r.n. being readily accessible to young children is a real concern. I also worry about the apparent increase in violent online p.o.r.n and how it influences young people's sexual expectations.

What does everyone else think?

The Addis Ababa Fistula Hospital is the world’s first dedicated fistula hospital, built in 1974 to treat Ethiopian women who suffer from obstetric fistula. Obstetric fistula is the tragic outcome from an obstructed labour causing permanent incontinence and the social stigma that comes with it. We treat our patients free of charge, thanks to the generous financial support of donors.

See here for more information.

The hospital was founded and still run by a remarkable Australian woman, Dr Catherine Hamlin. Patients usually require surgery but may also require ongoing care - all of which is provided free of charge. Women are also provided clothing and long term patients are given basic education including the skills needed to set up their own small business. This is all provided free of charge thanks to donations.

The hospital also runs a midwifery college to train women to be midwives.

The Hamlin Fistula Hospital is having a fundraising drive - 600 people for $600. ($600 being the cost of 1 surgery to restore a woman's dignity.) There's not many of us that can afford to donate $600 but many of us can afford $10. Please please please can you afford just $10?

Is it possible that between all the generous and able hubbers that we could donate $600 to help restore a woman's dignity?

Here's a video about the hospital - it's 1 minute long.
You can donate from this website https://hamlin.org.au/how-to-help-2/
My husband's business is on the taubmans website and to write a review you have to have Facebook.

I just went to leave a review in the Coles recipes website but I need to log into a Facebook, twitter or google account first.

Is life almost forcing me to join one of these things? I made a bonds online purchase and could have saved 10% if I "liked" them on Facebook. Here
