Recommendation for Fertility Specialist - Western Suburbs of Melbourne

My husband and I have been trying for ~3.5 years to conceive with no luck. I've had some testing done, but he hasn't at this stage and we are looking to find someone who can take it to the next stage whatever that may be.

I have met with one group but they seemed to be pushing their own barrow rather than taking a personal interest in assessing our fertility and assisting us, I would really like some recommendations for a specialist in the western suburbs of Melbourne who can help us to get all the necessary tests and see what we can do to try to make this thing happen.

Hi all,

Im after some answers if someone can help.

My first IVF cycle, i had 4F and 1 retrieved. No perfect blast to make it to ET. I was on 300 Puregon.

IVF#2 - Puregon 300
I was on injections till CD14.
Had 3 ultrasound and blood test to monitor the follicle growth.

First u/s
R: 4F 19 15 <10
L: 9F < 10

Second u/s
R 4F 19 17
L: 9F 13, 2 x 12, < 10

Third u/s
R: 27 23
L: 35 18 16
Rest was all <10

My specialist recommended to pll the plug as he 35 has formed into a cyst and ER wouldnt be for another 2 days and will only have success in getting 1 collected with poor quality. Others may form into cyst

Ive stopped all injections

Question

1. Has anyone experienced something similiar
2. Do you still ovulate naturally
3. How long will it take for the 35 follicle to disappear

Clomid Nov 2011 to May 2012: BFN
Laparoscopy June 2012 with severe endo. Left tube not working
IVF #1- March BFN
IVF #2- April - plug pulled BFN

Update: my nurse called this morning advised to trigger ovulation and not to have BD. Due to number of follicles and risk of multiples

Has anyone gone against their OB/nurse and got BFP from BD???

I triggered (overidel) this morning

My DH had a vasectomy reversal last year and it was successful in regards to sperm coming through again, however, it's been 12 months and his count is still low (5 million) and the forward progression is also poor.

As far as I know, I have no reproductive issues. I have been tracking my cycles for about 6 months and have a clear rise in BBT after ovulation (plus good ewcm), my luteal phase is generally 13 days and there's not much variance in overall cycle length. I haven't taken any birth control in nearly 3 years.

We have been given a referral to a fertility clinic, so we'll be making an appointment shortly - I'm just wondering what to expect stepping into this rather scary new world for the first time??

Can anyone recommend me a good fertility specialist in the eastern or south eastern suburbs of Melbourne or the Melbourne CBD? Any help would be appreciated!
