Currently making its way around the circuit in Australia is Tom Carroll's incredible documentary film, Storm Surfers 3D. The film tracks Tom and bestie Ross Clarke-Jones as they scour the seas in search of the gnarliest waves to conquer. What is meant to be a simple insight into the beauty, drama, and allure of surfing becomes a stunning insight into ambition, friendship, fatherhood and the thrill of daring to dream. Even if you aren't a surfie chick/dude, there is so much to enjoy about Storm Surfers 3D, not least the breath-taking, stomach-churning cinematography. This amazing piece of Australiana is touring the country now before heading off to the Toronto International Film Festival.
