Film Review: Magic Mike

If you're planning a girls' night out, then you could do worse than spend it with the likes of Channing Tatum, Matthew McConaughey and their hot-bodded pals. Magic Mike, in case you haven't heard, is about male strippers, and provides the right amount of eye candy to allow you to get close and almost personal with some spectacular abs. The dancing is fun and raunchy, with McConaughey's performance as the oily team-leader being the sauciest of the lot. The only downside to Magic Mike is the storyline, which gets a little bit carried away with itself and too serious, but hey, it's not the storyline that you are going to see this film for, right? I'm told that this film is good fun to watch with a glass of bubbles or two, so make a night of it, if you're up for it.
