Film Review: The Amazing Spider-Man
Marvel films are a sure hit these days, which is probably why Hollywood keeps churning them out. A while back there seemed to be a string of Hulk films released one after the other, and now we have Spider-Man begin remade within ten years of it first being released. If your question is why? Then the answer is: because second time round, the updated, new and improved version of Spider-Man is everything you could imagine it to be, and maybe even just a little bit more. The Amazing Spider-Man is bigger, gutsier, cooler, and edgier, with better characters, epic fight sequences and a comic-book feel that will thrill the geek that lurks inside of every viewer. Yes, there are gaping plot holes, and yes it is a little silly in parts, but as a venture into imagination and fantasy, then you won't do much better than this fun, likeable film these holidays.
The Amazing Spider-Man is rated M for action/violence.
