So three of the four original Wiggles will be hanging up their famous scivvies after 21 years!
For a while there - when Sam was replaced and Wigglegate brough the world to its knees - I was scared that they would keep on wiggling into their twilight years. Greg would need his Big Red Car licence renewed annually and Jeff would be getting harder and harder to rouse from his naps.
But that won't happen now that Jeff, Murray and Greg have announced they will be retiring. Blue Wiggle Anthony will be staying put with three new additions ... Emma Watkins, Lachlan Gillespie and Simon Pryce! Yep a girl Wiggle!
Good on em.
They've done well and they've bowed out gracefully before the hair got too grey and the dance moves too painful to execute (and watch ...).
Well, gracefully-ish as we still haven't REALLY gotten over Sam's departure have we?

So Goodbye original Wiggles, we will miss you. Some of us watched you when we were kids and now we watch you with our own kids. Freaky huh?
