What's Hot - McCormick Slow Cookers
Ok, I'm the first to admit that cooking is not a past time of choice. I have a handfull of favourites that sometimes come around with a little too much regularity. This generally causes howls of complaints - I mean how much spagetti can one family eat?
And so it is with genuine delight that I have discovered McCormick Slow Cookers. Have you seen them? They are a range of recipe bases specifically for slow cooking. The sachets are available at the supermarket and you simply follow the recipe - which generally requires a bit of chopping and then everything in to the slow cooker. Easy.
Last night we had Lamb Moussaka - which admittedly was an oven dish and not a slow cooker dish. So simple - just dice onions, slice eggplant and brown both; brown lamb mince; add the McCormick's Osso Bucco recipe base and tomato paste, simmer for 30 mins and then transfer to oven for 20 mins with a bechamel sauce topping. It took me 15 minutes to make. It took the family about as long to demolish.
Free from artificial flavours, colours and added MSG.
Easy cooking. Beautiful flavour. Happy little vegemites. Now that's hot!
