  1. Healthy Winter Nesting

So apparently we are on track for the driest May to date - warm sunny days but chilly nights and mornings! Most people turn to easy comfort food as Winter approaches but there are healthy yummy ways around that!

With my second child due next month, I am busy preparing my freezer for the times I am too tired to cook! Here are my little tips:

    1. When cooking healthy soups, stews & casserole's, make enough to freeze a few meals.

  3. Slow Cooker Italian Vegetables

I LOVE my slow cooker. Saves me so much time and means I can throw some ingredients in the pan and a few hours later I have a tasty dinner ready to go. It is tasty, easy and bursting with flavour - a win win. See my recipe below and ...

by , 11-05-2012 at 11:59 (The Official Bub Hub Blog!)

If Time Magazine's goal was to create discussion they have certainly achieved it with this month's cover.

If you haven't seen it it shows an almost-four-year-old standing on a small chair breastfeeding from his mother.

It is very staged (as are all magazine covers) and deliberately confronting in it's use of pose, eye contact and clothing (they want to sell copies after all!).

So I'm a week overdue now with baby #2... and going completely stir crazy.

As my first false start happened at 36 weeks, these last four weeks have been a very slow and torturous haze.
Every niggle, every sleepless night, every early-labour tease, I lose my sanity just a little bit more!

So this week, my making life easier mission is to find all the ways to stay calm, positive not too nesting crazy, and above all else - stay sane
