    by , 29-07-2012 at 07:22 (Birth 101 - 101 Birth Stories and Counting ...)

"As I screamed "Mum! My waters broke on your couch!" my partner pulled up into the driveway."

"But 'Lumpy' wasn't due for another week", I thought, so I decided on the 20th to have dinner at my mum's while my partner

"That was my first birth and a very horrible experience
    "

Most women reach their due date and just want the baby out!!

I was 8 days over and was seriously over it - but that was just the beginning of my journey.

I started having contractions while I was watching TV at home and I was able to sleep halfway through that night before going into the hospital.

When I first arrived I was having three very strong painful contractions

  3. Support a parent's right to choose their birthing method

"I dislike losing to the Poms and Kiwis in sport but to be behind them when it comes to having babies, well that is just not cool!"

"Let's do this, let's have our unassisted homebirth!"

It's Monday March 12 and as soon as I open my eyes I'm hit with a huge painful contraction which takes my breath away. If I'm going to have a baby, this is the day for it to happen, it's a public holiday and the Husband is home. Let's do this, let's have our unassisted homebirth!

Around 1pm, for the first time ever, I experience a "bloody show" - it's amazing to think that 4th time around

"I never been so scared in all my life"

On the 1st of February I was 39 weeks and 6 days pregnant - my due date was February 2. I wasn't ready for DS to come out because I was so in love with being pregnant and I was very scared about giving birth.

At 1.30am on the 2nd of February my water broke and contrations started - they went from 7 mins apart to 4 mins apart. I quickly woke up my partner and we were on our way.

    When we got to the
