    You have to love Liz Cambage and Lauren Jackson (to name but 2 of the Opals). They are strong, intelligent, independent women with opinions that they are happy to express.     Congratulations to the mum who recently posted the following on Target's Facebook page:

    "Dear Target, Could you possibly make a range of clothing for girls 7-14 years that doesn't make them look like tramps … You have lost me as a customer when buying apparel for my daughter as I don't want her thinking shorts up her backside are the norm or fashionable.''

    Before I even start, let me declare LOUDLY that I did NOT watch The Shire, that I have no intention of ever watching The Shire and that I know that by even writing about The Shire I am, sadly, promoting it to some extent.

    Did you feel the Earthquake last night? It hit at 8.53pm and recorded a magnitude of 5.3 - the strongest earthquake in Victoria for 100 years.

    My Facebook page went crazy with friends posting about the 'shaking'. Luckily no one was injured and the damage has been minimal - some cracks in walls, broken windows and displaced stock in shops. The quake was 9.9km under ground and people have reported feeling the shaking for between 15 and 60
