Jumping the shark usually refers to a point when a TV show that was once great has started to decline in ratings. I believe the term was first used in Happy Days when Fonzie literally jumped a shark in an episode. After this the show didn't seem to have the same credibility as before and it dwindled in ratings. Seinfeld jumped the shark when Elaine cut her hair and while The Wiggles aren't a TV show per se I'm wondering have they jumped the shark by changing the Wiggle line up.

I have been sucked in watching The Voice, I told myself I wouldn't watch it, that there would be no point anyway as I would find it boring. Hellooooooo I love it! I'm not sure how it happened.
