  3. Aussie PND website named world’s best

    An Australian website has been named the world's best for mother's with a postnatal mental illness.

    The site -
    www.panda.org.au which is run by the Post and Antenatal Depression Association (PANDA) - was rated as the worldwide website leader in a study conducted by the School of Psychology at the University of Sussex.

    The study, which was published in the Archives of Women's Mental Health, is the most comprehensive review of postnatal depression websites to date.

  4. Morning tea with the PM

    On Friday my boss Hilary had morning tea with the Prime Minister.


    I had morning tea with my nan ... but this isn't about me.

    Hilary was invited to Kirribilli House with a handful of other woman from the parenting/internet world. Obviously it wasn't long before the hashtag #PMtea was created and tweets were being sent over tea and macaroons.

  5. Allergy researchers call for better food labelling

    My gorgeous little neice recently had a mild reaction to peanuts.


    She is currently in the process of having further testing done but in the meantime we've been told to be vigilant when giving her food.

    Well that is easier said than done.

    Ever cautious while she was in my care recently I began reading labels before giving her the same food as my little boy. Rice crackers? Nope, they may contain traces of peanuts ... Cereal snacks? Nope, same reason.
