Hi Toni!
That frustration is probably a sign that she'll work it out by herself soon enough ;)

You could sit just out of her reach and hold your arms out for a cuddle (or, if yours is materialistic like mine  hold out a toy), she might just take a step or two without realising it!

PS love your bubba's name!!! :)

I'm sure she will get there very soon. We had the opposite problem where both our boys wanted to be walked around holding hands but their balance wasn't good enough to let go. We were also lucky that they've both wanted to start walking in summer so we spent alot of time in pools (water up to their arm pits) to help them get their balance.
Best of luck

She sounds like she will figure it out for herself really soon! Don't try to do anything, as if she gets frightened by a fall or something she isn't ready for, it may put her back a bit.

13mths old is a great time to learn .... she is doing really well!

Hi Toni,
I have an idea for you to try it worked for DD.
Put her fave toy on the edge of the lounge and hold her just 1 or 2 steps away from it and encourage her to get it. When she is confident doing 1 or 2 steps put her back a little further adn so on until she is confident enough.
Then you can try holding her up and getting Daddy or some one else she loves to sit a few steps away and call for her to go to him, mabe holding her fave toy again.
Hope this helps. It worked for DD. But just make sure you practice on carpet or a rug so soften a fall, and if a fall happens (which it most probably will) don't make too much of a fuss over it, unless she cries, just stand her back up again and encourage her to try again.
Good luck!
