I'll be having Bubs #2 at the Royal Hobart Hospital, funnily enough, in Hobart ;)
Had DD there and can't praise the staff enough for all their help! Will be happily going back there (unless they try to talk me out of a VBAC, then i'll become the bitchiest pregnant woman ever LoL) :D

I'm going to Blacktown in Western Syd after a bad experience at Westmead...
Like Fly will become one of the b!tchiest preg women if I'm not allowed to attempt* VBAC!
* Attempt is used instead of have as I understand that things may not work out according to my plans. But I will be extremely persistant with my desire to VBAC and only if a life is at stake are they to intervene... My partner HAS been told this and also been told that no matter how I am in labour he is to follow through on what I WANT not how he sees fit like he did last time - the only decision he will need to make is whether or not to eat in front of the labouring woman!!*

Mitcham Private in Melbourne.
Wasn't going to go there after the altercation with the 2IC midwife last time but after just being there for my hyperemesis, she looked after me and was completely different to the 'pitbull from the gates of hell' I encountered a few years ago.
I wonder if my ob said something to her - we were only discussing her attitude the day before I was admitted. :detective:

Caintwait im with dr jenkins, im now second guessing my hospital but my sisters loved it, i didnt even book in to look around but im sure it will be fine we live in hills so much quicker for us.
I have found the best non alcoholic wine everyone! Im the first to get pregnant in my group of partying friends so in coles i found i think its edenvale or something similar non alcoholic chardonnay and its a dead ringer for the real thing they do a bubbly too, worth a try for eight bucks!
I am also going to the Sunnybank Private, so see you there BBunny

Cant wait i thought dr jenkins was all that but i was a little let down when he asked if it was a planned pregnancy as soon as we entered, i felt like yelling "Yes, we have been trying a year and cried every month it didnt take and this baby is loved more than anything!" It just hurt i guess my hub and i look young but still i took offense! We must live close im at stanhope gardens maybe we will do mothers group together! YAY! When you say work out, do you go to fitness first? Are you still doing classses? i stopped pump and combat cos i dont trust the trainers qualifications at my gym. Im starting yoga and pilates at hills in a few weeks.
Widget, sounds like your close too! hopefully i wont have to walk to hills, car ride to the front door i say in the january sun i wont be walking far at all! Do you have health fund? we get 75 per cent back from the two grand

We're with MBF but under couples and I can't log into DF's stupid account to check if obstetrics are on there - I don't think they are but we really need to increase to family as this is bub #2... 75% back isn't bad but we don't have the $2k up front either - and we won't have it ever!! I'm going back to work so we can save...
Gotta go - #1 not happy!!

I'm going to Dandenong Hospital, SE Melbourne - no other hospital in our area will take me after the complications with DS2. It is public but I had no problems with it last time except that I had to share a room.
My placenta didn't come out last time and I was in theatre within 45 mins of DS popping out. If I had him at the private hospital where DS1 was born, I would have had a 20 min ambulance ride ahead of me.
I ended up losing heaps of blood as it was and had 5 transfusions over 3 days.

I'll be having mine at the Cairns Base. It's public but my other two were born there, and its fine.

I'll be off to Mercy Hospital in Hiedelburg again! I had a great experience there last time even with the complicated birth. They were all very supportive.

Hey Kate, haha I don't "work out" at norwest...i work at norwest, sorry for confusion, but not a lot of exercising going on here thats for sure!
im keen to start doing yoga though if you find a good class in the area! mothers groups sounds good too :yelclap:
i feel your pain with your OB though, my GP asked all those questions too when she saw I was only 23, but my OB was keen as mustard, kept going on about how good it was to be having kids young, and i agree!
