3D/4D scans in pregnancy

Hello all :wave:

Im hoping that others may have had a 3D/4D scan done in pregnancy and may be able to suggest a good place to get them done from.

I have been told its best between 26 and 32 weeks... i am 23 now so want to book in soon for around 29 weeks (i figure snack-bang in the middle!)

hi ,your in SA? im getting mine done on wednesday @ 30 weeks at fetal fotos on henley beach road....the gold package is 200 which includes lots of photos and a dvd...Some Bensons also do it ,i think at around 165 but im not sure what you get for that....I cant wait!!!

Yes I live in Metro SA.

I have heard of Fetal Fotos doing it and also Bensons as I have had a couple of scans there. I was hoping someone could tell me if they had good experiances at either of them (or any others that do it if there are any others).

I had a couple taken at 19 weeks at my routine scan at Bensons just as a bit of a bonus (they were great there) but wanted to get some more taken when bubs has filled out with a bit of fat! Although Bensons was great I kind of wondered if going somewhere like Fetal Fotos that do the 3/4D especially might have been better.

nicoleE - I can't tell you anything about the scans as not had them done myself though I am watching this thead with interest for when I get PG with no 2.
But I was thinking maybe you should post this in a broader thread/section, something not so specific to S.A as your more likely to get responses. Not saying the ladies in S.A/Adelaide wont post but rather that fewer women here may have had it done, where as overall in Aus there will have been more mums who had it done and I'm sure those companies have branches throughout Aus......though I could be wrong :D

I had my 3D / 4D scans done at Bensons in North Adelaide and i highly recommend them. They are cheaper than Fetal Fotos and just as professional.

I had DS scanned at 29 weeks and the photos were awesome. I loved the fact you got a DVD with the photos. We had 30 minutes ( i think ) of footage of Little Lucas. It was great because from the DVD you can take stills and print them out and there for you have ample shots.

I went to Fetal Fotos and they all turned out blurry.
Maybe bubs was moving too much.
Bensons sounds like a good choice as they would have the latest equipment.
