Turkey Basting - did it last night!!! (Spoiler Warning - TMI)

Hello Ladies - well today is the day that I'm sure you have all been waiting for. Confirmation that Turkey Basting has been engaged. I did it last night! I did an OPK and unfortunately it was a negative - but I had all the bodily symptoms of O going on, so I did it anyway.

I figure, why not. DH gets home in 2 more sleeps, so if O is still on her way then DH may be home just in time :D . Otherwise, I still have one more 'sample' in the freezer.

I took it out of the freezer, and put the condom with the little boys in it into some room temperature saline solution. When it had all melted inside of the condom I stuck it under my armpit to get it to body temperature. Then I sucked up the little boys into a small oral medicine syringe. Then, after reaching the big O (as per a few ladies suggestion :D ) I whipped them into place. Kept my pelvis tilted and my feet up against the bedroom wall.

So I guess we will find out in 2 weeks!!!

Thanks guys! The substance of the little boys was just like it normally is. Am wondering if it is going to work or not!!! Thing is, I dont think I was ovulating. I'm kind of half minded that yes, I was (cause I had O-type cramps) but I did an OPK and got a negative...

Ally, I must admit that I've been following your story and it might be one of the strangest things I have ever heard of......

Oh well - guess I'll find out in 2 weeks...

OMG! I did an OPK last night and it was a FEINT positive! And DH gets home at midday today!!!!!!

I wanna scream with excitement! Am going to do another OPK today (a bit later on :D ) and see if the line is a bit darker...

I kept on dreaming about babies last night - probably had something to do with me shopping for a gorgeous little 8 week old girl yesterday...

Hey ladies - well DH and I have a lovely reunion last night. It was so nice to have him home with me *sigh...*

However - I have NO idea if I O'D or not (ovulated that is ;) ) I did ANOTHER OPK before bd, and it was only a faint positive. I have had faint positives for the last couple of days. And apparantly if its a faint positive on an OPK then it is actually a negative. Only a strong positive is a POSITIVE.

I guess we will know in 2 weeks time... Either way - I had a good night ;)
