Hi
I'm finding it hard deciding which group to join as most people in these groups look to already have multiple children.
The reason I have a problem here is that I'm having symptoms that they say, 'usually don't occur until 3rd Trimester', 'first child normally doesn't show until into your 2nd Trimester'. I've talked to my GP and she don't seem concerned but it would be nice to chat with other woman my age having their first.
Also I'm going for my Amnio in over a week and I was wandering how other woman found it.
I also didn't do an U/S at 12 weeks. The doctors (not GP, I was dealing with a few people) checked me with the wand a couple of times and said 'yes there definately is a baby and look at that it's growing' (great doctors and I'm very happy with them they helped me with my problems and did a very successful job) but when I saw my GP last week to ask about pelvic pain and hip pain she wandered about the size of my uterus and my due date...some question of 'you're not having twins are you?' and 'what did my 12 week U/S say?'. You can imagine my embarrassment when I couldn't tell her and that the baby looked fine using the wand.
Sorry I'm sort of dumping everything as the next coupld of weeks look to be a bit stressful.
Any suggestions or comments would be appreciated.
