ELLO IS ANYONE DELIVERING AT THE RBWH IN JAN/FEB??

IT WOULD BE GREAT TO KNOW SOMEONE!!

Hi Laura,

I have my name down for the Birth Centre at the Royal, and the ballot is in a couple of weeks.

If I don't get in, I will be going through the normal maternity part of the hospital.

I have worked as an assistant nurse in the birthing suite of RBWH and loved it, but when it came to deciding which hospital as we have only been in Brisbane since Jan of this year, my doc said that there is quite a demand for RBWH and it can happen that you are asked to go elsewhere due to there not being any room. And if I did choose there, I would have had to have had most of my ultrasounds done privately which cost. And we have limited funds.
So then it came down to the choice between Caboolture or Redcliffe.
Redcliffe is closer, so that's where I'm going.
