Hi guys.Well you guessed it.I am getting married in Oct and I am 11weeks along with #2.Does anyone Know where to get maternity wedding dresses in Sydney or Newcastle area.I am not keen on ordering a dress online and and as I already had brought my dress I dont have enough money for a dress maker.PS One of my brides maids rang today to tell me that she is also expecting:yelclap:

Congrats on your pregnancy!

I got married at about 25 weeks and I was really really showing. I had planned to buy a dress I had seen online when we first got engaged. But obviously things changed when we decided to have babies.

I ended up getting my made. Unbelievably it worked out cheaper than the initial dress I wanted and twice the quality. Even if your budget isn't much a girl I work with had a dress made for about $800. I would have a look at the dresses online for style ideas and get quotes to compare.

Otherwise maybe consider hiring. They do all the alterations for you....

Hi there

I got married when I was 22weeks and definitley showing!

I have a wonderful dress maker I could direct you too in Western Sydney (toongabbie) that made my dress for about $800. If you already have a dress im sure she could alter it for you. She even came with me to buy the fabric etc...

If you are intrested in her name let me know, PM me and ill give you her number.

Best of luck!!! what an exciting year for u ahead :hugs:

Oh also, Lisa Ho has some wonderful flowy dresses at the moment and most come in an ivory colour. About $1000 from memory.

The dress i wore (after bub number 3) was awesome and i can wear it now even with my bump (only as i wanted to try it on to see if it still fit me lol) as its a corset style i can loosen the bodice area it looked great!! maybe something like that could be an option just a thought
