AF after D&C??

Hello everyone.
I recently had a D&C due to a missed M/C at 10.5 weeks which was very painful as we were trying for number three for nearly a year to have this happen. I do have two children a 9 year old who was easily concieved and my nearly 2 year old son who took us 5 years to concieve.
So it was wonderful to concieve after 9-10 months this time.
Anyway we will try again but i have to wait for my first normal AF after my D&C.

ON thursday (28 days after D&C) I was sure AF was here i started spotting and had cramping and sore bbs but since then the spotting has nearly dissappeared and i have no cramping but i still have sore bbs. I'm wondering if this could have been a very light AF????? and is it common to have a very light(no bleeding just spotting)AF after a D&C has this happened to anyone else?

Greetings from the Sunshine Coast. I am 33 and also new to this site. BTW its great. I have 2 great kids already one 14 and one 11. Unfortunately after my last child Ive been wrought by miscarriage after miscarriage. My most recent being October 2003 at 11 weeks. Well I am happy to report that I am once again pregnant and cautiously optimistic although I have had some cramping and some pain in the groin. I am 5 1/2 weeks. :) Hoping for some joy with this pregnancy!

Lots of thoughts from Grace and I, one of my best friends had two miscarriage's one after the other both at 8wks. Her third attempt was very sucessful, with nicholas 71/2mths now. I hope you will have the same joy this time round.

Hi Michelle,
I want to first say how sorry I am that you had to go through a missed M/C and I hope your heart and body are healing after the d&C.
I have also had a missed m/c before I conceived my son and know how sad it can be. I think I had Af about 10 weeks after d&c but I bleed for 2 weeks after d&c but I am sure we are all different and if your still concerned maybe ask your GP.
I wish you all the best in TTC and hopefully a lovely healthy heart beat very soon.

I'm Kristy. I have had 2 D&C's... one after the birth of my first child for retained products, when she was 3 I lost our second child due to miscarriage, needed a D& again, fell preg again and miscarried one of the twins. Bella is now 21 months!
