Seriously, I have never been colder in my life than Port Arthur in May 2004 - I swear the icecaps were just off shore :p

It IS freezing here in good ol' sunny Vic though - sun's out, but the wind is blowing right through me. Good day to snuggle with my bug in front of the fire :D

I really dislike Winter in a big way!!!
I am a summer person, I can never get warm in winter no matter how much I try and it makes it hard to sleep at night etc....:mad:

Havent got a place yet but applications in for a place at risdon cove kinda across the river from zinc works/incat..... really nice view of the water and bowen bridge... but we prob wont get it lots of ppl interested so anywhere down that way really glenorchy moonah northern suburbs i guess hehe

We are looking at around $220-$260 coz thats what everything is these days!!
ive got a good rental history thru PRD from when i lived in glenorchy n now this place which is privately rented.
DP has good history as well not sure who he's been thru i know one was an old boss of his but he's been in a few places..

What size place is it?? like 2 or 3 bdrm?

It's freezing out in the Vally of Love Valentine I don't think I have turned the heat pump of in past week I've been so cold. This our first winter with the wood heater and I love it. The other day I was outside and heard some poor sucker spitling wood :laughing:

I'm soooo jealous! We have asked the landlord to put in a heatpump but of course they won't......but we refuse to use the woodheater this year because DD will get burnt for sure. So a huge electricity bill for us at the end of winter - using dodgy electric heaters now! Still freezing our butts off though!!!

If your landlord won't put in the heat pump about a guard to go around the wood heater?

Do you have Pay As You Go? We do and it's the best we never have to worry about getting big power bills over the winter.
