colic after 6 months?????

hi all,
my doc told me that babies over 3 months dont get colic so took my 6month daughter off infacol.... what a nightmare. needless to say she is back on infacol and much more settled. Do you think colic exists in babies over 3 months. Maybe i should give my doc the flick.

I guess there is much debate over what "colic" is. I have always been told Colic is a turm used to describe unexplained crying in babies but others use the turm colic to describe wind problems.
My only advice is if the infacol is working keep using it.

My son has wind problems....i try not to use the term colic.

I was told the same thing- that colic goes away after 3 months. My son is 4 months and is STILL having problems with wind. We have him on Infants friend.

We are going to see a natropath for some natural remedies to help him with his digestive system and bowels. I'm hoping this will help......it's not nice having a baby that can't sleep more than the 45 min sleep cycle because of bad wind pains.
