 ok, so i've got a stupid question, but i want the answer so i'm going ask it anyway.
what's the easiest way to clean little noses?!!! ds always seems to have a city of boogies and i just can't get them out!!
he either screams/cries, shakes his head from side to side, laughs at me or tries to eat the cotton bud/tissue. it's just hopeless. there has to be an easier way!
help! :detective:

Baby fess loosens them and then wipe the nose. they usually sneeze them out after the fess
oooh sounds like you need a snot sucker!!!
if you go to the chemists .. they will have one .. its like a little rubber balloon thing .. with a narrow attachment on one end .. BRILLIANT at clearing icky noses .. much narrower than a finger with a tissue .. and a little more efficient than a cotton bud
bubbas dont really like it either .. but its very effective .. especially if bubs is snuffily ..
oh - the only easier way I have found - is a nice HOT shower .. or bath .. then their noses run - FANTASTIC .. definitely clears the noses

I agree with Veve. We have a snot sucker too ( what are they really called?) you just press down on the balloon part and it sucks the boogies right out!! Works great
lol arent they call aspirators or something?:o
I just put a few drops of saline up his nose (which he hates) and the theory is that it makes him sneeze it out. Sometimes it works, mostly it doesn't. I've found that he hates me going near his nose and I can see that being the case for many years to come!

yep snot sucker works for us too :D
I was having all sorts of trouble cleaning DS' nose last week and then one day he had fallen asleep in my lap and I could see a big booga up his nose so I gave it a good clean out while he was asleep! It didn't wake him and much easier than fighting with him to get to it while he is awake! Otherwise like others have said, use saline drops or give it a good wipe in the bath when it's nice and loose :D

I agree!! When Frasers asleep i do everything from his nose, ears, nails...the works. Sometimes i try when hes awake but as happens with you he gets very cross and wiggles around so much its impossible!!
