View Full Version : Pregnant AGAIN!!!

Hi, just found out today that we are expecting again - our 5th child:eek: Haven't posted in the forum before but had been receiving the bubhub emails for about a year. It's only very early (about 4 weeks) though I've suspected for about 2 weeks.

I'm excited, shocked, ecstatic, nervous and think I need to be locked up or seriously need my head read.

We have two boys - Reece (10) and Brendan (9), and two girls - Brooke (8) and baby Tayla (10 months).

I'm an insulin dependant diabetic and have been for 25 years so have terrible pregnancies. Very strict diet, lots of daily blood tests, 4 or more injections a day and lots of visits to doctors. I usually deliver (or am induced between 35 - 37 weeks gestation).

Our youngest is still breastfed, and has never slept through the night and usually still has 2 feeds overnight.

congratulations, i too have difficult pregs with pre - eclamsia and odema though.

Congratulations!!!! It may be a little tough, but you know it's worth it in the end. So stay strong - and come to bubhub to talk/rant/complain whenever you need to!!! :)

Congratulation and welcome to bubhub,you will have lots of fun and get lots of support:) , I hope things get eaiser as your children get older, WOW 5th child, we need more people like you around here, you have been through so much, you must know everything there is to know right? move over here and sit next to me, and I will cross my fingares that some of your knowledge wil ruboff on me.:D

Thanks to everyone for their congratulations and words of encouragement and support. It's sunk in now and we can't wait for our newest family member. Have 1st ultrasound to check all is OK on 2nd February.
