My baby is a baby no longer.

She slept in her big bed last night and it appears that she's there to stay. We only put the bed up yesterday, but she knew exactly who and what it was for. Fortunately her big sis is very excited to be sharing her room.

I only had to put her back to bed 3 times last night  and once tonight :o . This is all a bit monumental (and bittersweet *sigh*)

Cheers

Wow X! How old is your little one?

Alice is 17 months and I can't see her going into a big bed any time soon?

This is going to be a whole new world to me...:D

Oh X - it is sad isn't it? I can just imagine her excitement at a big bed though! DD1 was the same - slept in it the first day and never looked back. We moved the cot into the baby's room the next day and she immediately referred to it as the baby's bed - no looking backwards for the "big girl"

How sweet that Cat is excited about sharing her room! I have suggested it to DD1 as an option at times and she looks horrified:rolleyes: so it is a good thing we don't need to do it anytime soon!

DD2 is 21 months old, I thought that we'd have MONTHS in the cot yet, but older sibling peer pressure is a marvellous thing. Lets hope it works with toilet training too! :D

OMGosh Ffrenchie I know DD1 will be in preprep this time next week
