Hi
New to this site today, was thinking of using a unisex name, so if bub is a boy or girl we could use the same name. I know seems lazy but we just can't agree on a name. How ever we do like the names Cooper, Reece, and Sam, what do you think, would love to get your opinions. Depending on if its a girl or a boy will change the spelling.:o
Hey Care Bear! Welcome to Bubhub!
I think they're lovely names. They'd suit boys or girls. By the way, you're not being lazy, you're being 'efficient'. ;) I think those names would suit a child and an adult, and they're not really common. All good in my mind, but go with what you're happy with.
Are you pg now? If so, how far?

Hi and Welcome!! You will find a lot of helpful advice on bub hub!
I like a lot of unisex names...I like Bailey for boy or girl and I also used like Ashleigh for either too. There are a few others but i can't think of them at moment!:)
Also love Cooper - we wanted that if we had a boy but my cousin took that one! :) she didn't know though. DH is Sam so I love that too!!! Reece not too sure but I do love Reese Witherspoon:rolleyes:
Good luck with the naming process - it's the exciting part!
I like some unisex names, but I fear that once as it's been stuck on the girls for a while the boys tend to suffer, being that they're soon considered 'girly' yanno?

My nephew is called Rhys (another spelling of reese) and it really suits him, I have always thought of it as a boys name until Reese Witherspoon. Its a nice strong name tho! Cooper, I think I have only really heard for a boy but it would sound cute on a girl. I think if you had Sam for a girl though people would always assume that her name was Samantha or something
Hi & welcome to the hub...:D
I think the unisex name is a good idea at least that way you just have to pick one name & not worry to much about it hay lol.
I meet a guy called Kim one day when i was going to school it freaked me out at first but i got use to it after a bit lol. :D

Hi and welcome! I have always liked the name Carter ... but not on a boy. I always thought it was quite pretty ... and now I have an adorable little girl with an uncommon girls name. I've since heard Emerson and Camden, both of which I quite like for girls(not everyone's taste).
No complaints here ... I actually quite like Rhys.
I actually first heard the name Cooper used for a girl and loved it and now know a little boy with the name and still like it. I went to school with a Rhys (boy) and agree that it goes either way. I think Sam for a girl without it being short for Samantha is probably a little more different but at the end of the day it is your baby and your name for him/her so do whatever you want!
I have always liked Jamie for a girl/boy & also Charlie.
Jamie's a great girls name :D My FILs name is Kim, (short for Kimble, actually  I think Nana was a bit "Trendy")
I like Charlie as a nickname for Charlotte :D

Love Charli as a nickname for Charlotte!;)
I think Jamie is great too! Sam sounds sweet as a girls name - Denise Richards named her little girl Sam - not shortened for anything i don't think.
I never realised some of the names mentioned could be for both, but I really like a lot of them - it's even given me some ideas when we have our next one!!:)
Anyway whatever name you decide on will be perfect for your little bub!

I didn't think to mention before that i love Charlie as a unisex name! Though my DD is Charlee. DH also has an older daughter called Jamie, and it suits her really well.

Oooo I love unisex names, I know a Charley (girl) and a Sam (girl). I also know a Kimberley (boy) which may sound strange but I have known him since I was a little tacker so it's never been strange for me.
Yeah see it is strange to me lol i only ever meet i other Kimberly.
I love unisex names! Jamie has been my fav girls name for years and years.. but Jades first cousins name is Jamie (boy) so I couldn't use it.
Alex, Ashleigh and Charli were also on our list. Dunno how we ended up with Jade
I think boy's names on girls are better than girl's names on boys IYKWIM. My daughter's middle name is Cameron (same as her dad) but I would certainly think twice about naming a son after my middle names!! :p
