Well.. where? :detective:
Hubby reckons we should put them in the fridge after they're sterilised - but that just seems weird to me...

I actually kept mine in a sealed tupperware container with the formula

On the kitchen bench with the covers on.
(Speaking of which, has anyone seen those new dummies that "close" when dropped?)
DS rarely had a dummy, but I would sterilise them every night (just in case) with the bottles and keep them in the fridge.

Chiara doesn't have a dummy but if she did I'd put them in the fridge. Just because thats where I put the sterilized bottles when we were using them.

I had a container that was sterilised & would hold things like dummies, teats etc.
unless bubs is teething - I wouldn't keep it in the fridge - if you need it in a hurry its gonna be cold!!! EEK!!
I kept Jacks in a sealed container (like the small tupperware ones... but eventually I got a bigger clear one .. that fitted more than one in ... Jack still has about 6 of them ..)

I've got a sealed plastic container and I keep them in there with the lids on them.
One of those little tupperware containers. But I didn't sterilise them for long... I think after a few weeks I gave up, and just washed them in hot soapy water, then rinsed.

I hardly ever sterilised my dummys. Dont see the point really. They are no more dirty than rattles and toys, and dont come into contact with milk like teats etc do
I put them in a container in the cupboard with the lids on. When i get one out I usually pour boiling water over it first and I do that a few times during the day as well.
I don't know why I bother, he's crawling now and puts all sorts of crud in his gob.
a sealed container, and one in the fridge incase he had sore teeth

My bubs just under 8 weeks and when she was born the midwives at my hospital told me that they did not sterilise dummies anymore...however my bub has oral thrush (which DS never had...and it doesn't want to go away in a hurry:banghead: !)- so we have to sterilise dummies at the moment. We keep them on the bench with their lids on.

Sealed tupperware container :D
We always put their lid on and put them in the fridge - the kids loved them cold.
sealed container same as al her other sterile things
On the kitchen bench with the covers on.

Me too..
Re closing dummies???? Where can you get them from?:yelclap:
I used Avent ones and they came with their own little covers. I clipped those on and left them on the counter top. I would sterilse them twice a day.
She never took them but I put them in the fridge never really sterilised them either not much point!

I put them in the plastic covers like Beany (but ours are the cheap ones!). I've never sterilised anything for my poor baby - just hot soapy water for us :D

I would sterilise them in the microwave oven and then put them in the fridge in a little sealed container.
She loved them cold, especially when she was teething.:)

I saw them in K-Mart one day, I thought they were a great idea.
ETA: just found a pic of one. (http://trade.b2bindus.com/attach/3749/dummies.jpg)
I never sterilise dummies. They need to be exposed to germs so they develop an immunity system. Same with bottles, just hot water and soap.

Hah mine were cheaper than yours - they were freebies!

I keep them in zip lock bags on the bedside table and in the nappy bag (she only uses them to sleep), I always lose the covers.

i wash in hot soapy water when dropped on floor etc.. and dont steralise it. Ds has one dummy he uses.. lol im a tight ***.. and dont want him to get too attached to it. I replace it every month with a new one that i steralise b4 giving it to him and throw the old one out. If its not being used i wash it and put the cover on it and stick it on the bench.
