How about pikelets? She can help you make them  and they keep well for a couple of days in the fridge (or i think you can freeze them...) I put tomato relish and a bit of cheese on them for my boy, it's like a mini pizza!

Anything to dip - ie breadsticks and a little pot of hummous, or rice crackers and a little pot of salsa, or jatz crackers and a little pot of corn relish dip (yum yum!) I think toddlers love to dip ... they usually just suck the dip off and stick the biscuit back in the dip  so give them a pot of their own dip!!

Celery with cream cheese inside it?

Cruskits with spread on it? Spreadable tuna comes in a jar now, or something like "jam" but I actually buy the "spreadable fruit" so there's much less sugar in it.

How about a pasta salad, made with those gigantic pasta shells? So she can pick up one shell at a time to eat, and it's easy for her to hang on to.

And how about different kinds of fruit? When you go shopping, show her the different kinds of fruit - rambutan, starfruit, nashi's, blueberries, etc etc. Ask her to choose one.

Soldiers - cheese and tomatoe paste on toast grilled and cut into three fingers.

Cut up some fruit leave it in a container so its there to pick at (i find letting them watch makes them eat it thanks to the wiggles we do the songand they love it)

Saladas with avocado or tomato etc my kids love there and they love ricotta cheese on them too

Scones? make your own pumpkin of savoury

You can make mini bites too...what do is get an egg cutter then cut bread put the peices in a muffin tin and fill them with mushrooms, cheese, tomato etc, tuna anything really! bake them for about 10 minutes and they are so yummy hot or cold and so easy and use up all the bread as well!

Not sure what Tyler will eat but this is what my kids eat snack wise..they are big on fruit at the moment though so not complaining :D

Tyler will pretty much eat anything. however she doesnt like change much. she will try new things but always go's back to what she normally has.

She is goin through this thing at the moment where she just want to eat spreads, jam, cream cheese ect..

Outta all the different food i have tryed. avocado is the only thing she will not eat. I dont like it aswell:barf:

Thanks for the great idea's

Yeah, DD's loving dips at the moment. She calls them "sauce." I have to tell her to bite the dipper though (whether it be a breadstick, a cracker or veges)... she often just sucks the dip off and then dips for some more.

What about mini muffins? DD loves them.

I'm pretty boring actually... I give her stuff like scones, pikelets, fruits, dips, mini-muffins.

Tyler is the same eats the dip. then she throw's the jatz or what ever she has in the bin. Its my fault she does that. cause i alway say to her when she is finshed with food throw it in the bin. the other day she threw a hole bowl of jelly in the bin:eek:

I will try some mini muffins. I just wanna try to watch a bit more on what she eats. Ive been a bit slack/lazy lately with letting her have to much junk:thumbsdown:

You can stuff mini muffins with fruit and veg... so even if they have a bit of sugar in them, I think it's better.

Make em wholemeal too if you want them ever better!

haha dd would eat the dip with the spoon if i let her she sucks too but i have tought her to bite it now or i will semi steam the carrot sticks celery etc so they are a little softer for her so she doesnt have to bite so hard

pikelts are a great idea too i can only be bothered cooking them once a week though, add some apple to them for something different or even try omlettes my younger dd loves scrambled eggs or omlettes

My girls (4 and 21mths) love chopped up apple, or any fruit really with a small tub of yoghurt mixed in and sometimes topped with a bit of muesli. They also like it if it's been layered in a see through cup!

Dried fruit is always a hit for my girls (fruit salad on the go is their fav. It comes in a pack of six little boxes, they are green)

Cottage cheese with rice crackers

Peanut butter and celery

Rice crackers, ham, cheese, tomato etc all cut up and laid out on a plate so they can make their own... always goes down a treat!

I just came across a recipe it's called Cheese Scrolls. Made with vegemite and cheese, looks fun for the kids, it's very simple and even sounds yum LOL

PM if you want the recipe and I can type it up for you :)

My fave mini-muffins rare the ABC mini muffins (Apple Banana Choc). You can make them Apple Banana and carrot too if you please. Actually, you can put a lot of things in there so long as they're chopped really fine and not too juicy.

You pretty much follow a regular muffin recipe, put whatever you want them in them and then cook for a shorter length of time than you would for regular muffins. You'll also need 24 mini-muffin holes, rather than 12 for reg muffins... usually about 15 mins is all they take to cook.

You could always do wholemeal scones too... wholemeal pumpkin and cheese maybe?

I also do pineapple and carrot mini-muffins...

Blueberry ones.

You can do corn and cheese if you want, or mushrooms. You can add whatever you want really... but make sure there's no more than 50% of things like veges and such in your muffins or else they'll go a bit funny...

Another snack DD likes is rockmelon with a bit of ham wrapped around it.

I make an apricot chew slice thingy which DS seems to like and i prefer to give him over store bought bikkies

1 cup chopped apricots
- cover with water, just enough, bring to boil, cool

120gs softened butter
1 cup brown sugar
2 eggs
1 cup SRF
1 cup branflakes or sultana bran

cream butter sugar, add eggs, add cooled apricots and fold in dry ingredients

Bake 180 for about 40 minutes

Slice up and i often freeze half

.................................................. .....

I also find steamed carrot with humous dip a big hit, cheese cubes and bikkies.

Chicken pieces marinated in soy/honey then coated in sesame seeds and baked

yep pikelets- apple, zucchini, carrot, banana

smoothies

sausages (my boy would live on these if i let him)

Stewed apples with raspberries mixed in with yoghurt

Apple cubes, orange cubes etc

Shapes are a big thing at the moment (2 and a bit), amazing the difference a shape can make to the amount eaten, also loves faces (sultana eyes, grated cheese hair etc). Time consuming but after a majorly stubborn eating phase i put the effort in.
